Ladies and gentlemen, your attention please…
So I finished editing this tech demo/teaser trailer last night and wanted to accompany the video with a descriptive write up of the software itself, but because I was so tired I just posted the video and went to bed. The comments in just 12 hours time have been overwhelming but also question-filled, so allow me to elaborate more on the software with some screen captures to illustrate.
A regular visitor to Epoch-Art requested this image. He paid for it very handsomely. In fact, his email’s subject line was an extrapolation of the famous quote from The Godfather (‘an offer you can’t refuse’). Since it was easy enough to do with a set I had already finished (the restaurant from Clara Ravens Episode 3) and an outfit that was also complete, I put it together for him and am sharing it with you all, since there was some comments from persons eager to see Clara getting railed in this dress.
It’s been a very long time since I’ve touched the mesh for Samantha Radisson, the protagonist of the mini-series comic Breaking Point. So she was long overdue for an update. First, let me say that I’ve received a lot of email regarding this particular comic and character, and I want to assure you that the comic will indeed be finished. It was originally meant to be only a two-part mini-series, but after I wrote the whole story, I found a good story break and decided it would be better as three parts. So that will eventually be released through my store front here once other works are out of the way.
So, what was done to the character, you ask? For starters, the old V4 mesh was updated to the V4-WM version, which has much better weight mapping. Second, I updated the skin shader with SSS. Third, I tweaked her morphs since the old character didn’t have any of the Daz3D morph sets for Stephanie 4, Aiko 4, or the Elite packs. I really like a lot of the Stephanie 4 morphs (a lot of them are very realistic) so I added morphs from there and a few from the other two. And lastly, I redid large portions of the skin texture (the most noticeable change would be the nipples) because that texture was OLD and looking at it closely revealed
As everyone knows, Clara is a bit ruthless. She is extremely wealthy, super-hot, and always gets what she wants. Being part of the social elite in her native England, she often attends fundraisers, banquets, cotillions, and various other social functions that attract others of her social and economic status. She is well networked, in no small part due to her previous contributions to all sorts of charitable and philanthropic societies, as well as political campaigns and historical societies. Indeed, when Clara enters a room, people’s heads turn… not only due to her off-the-charts hotness, but because of who she is.
Ironically, Clara wears two faces. She dislikes the majority of the arrogant, opportunistic, sycophantic people she meets at these events. And just like those who would use her for their own gains, so does she.
Here we see Clara in a formal attire typical of the outfits she is known to wear when attending these upper class social events. Knowing that her appearance is sure to draw attention to her, she uses her ensemble as a means to get what she wants. And she always scores big…
I promised you an update last week concerning the new presentation format for my comics that will be sold here at Epoch-Art. Unfortunately, the tech demo video I’ve been editing cannot be finished due to new features being added to the software. We are still in alpha, so occasionally along the way new ideas spawn, which we implement, test, and decide if they add value. We’ve made a lot of additions and taken a lot away as well, to give you the best product possible, but this all takes time.
