When looking through some old stuff Epoch, I can across an old render with bunny.
Seeing as it’s Easter I though it fitting.
Unfortunately due to issues with the PCI compliance since the beginning of January, i’ve had to disable all purchasable items except the free items.
By doing it this way, you can still download your older comics.
In the meantime the website will be copied and that copy will be completly migrated to new versions.
All of december I made the website PCI complaint again… with a lot of going back and forth with the person that check the website. But suddenly since the scheduled scan of januari the 11th it was wrong again and not easily fixable.
All the links in the slider will lead the Affect 3d website so you can still purchase the comics if you want to.
Sorry about the sudden issues, it supprised me too.
I’ll keep you posted.
Merry Christmas everybody from Epoch and friends.
The X mas render still being, built seeing as only had time yesterday evening and some of today to built it.
Hope to finish it today/tomorrow and will post it as a Wallpaper on this post.
Enjoy the time spent with love ones
*UPDATE * render done.
The Christmas party went a bit overboard… the girls decided to have a little fun.
Enjoy. Best wishes for the new year.
For those who celebrated it. I hope you had a good thanksgiving.
I’ve slowly made some progress on CR 1 HD but I’m not completely happy with some of the images.
So are too noisy. (Which means a lot of pixels visible instead of smooth beautifull renders.
Unfortunately personal circumstances prohibted me on working more on this.
Luckily yesterday Otoy, the makers of Octane which Epoch and myself use, released version 4 of Octane with a denoiser option, which cuts out almost 50 percent of the noise. Especially in dark enviroments you can now create images. For those interestent more information here: https://home.otoy.com/octanerender-4/
Also render times have been improved. Need to test more with that before i know for certain, but it looks good.
I knew that Epoch did a dark Kendra commission for me a while back. See https://www.epoch-art.com/2017/04/03/kendras-dark-side/
And I also knew the first version of the image didn’t make it, because the noise was too bad.
So it was a good testcase to see what the denoiser did and if it will help.
And huraaah it works :D!
Included in the post a render of the image that was too noisy in the old render.
It’s rather big… but I hope you like it.
