Hello everyone! Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend so far. First things first: Don’t bother clicking on the image above, as it won’t open any larger. What you’re seeing is a crop of the second wallpaper I’ve completed for inclusion in the “bonus” features of Clara Ravens Ep. 4 Colombina’s Illusion Part II. If the crop doesn’t make it clear, it is a top-down camera angle of Clara relaxing in her home whirlpool jacuzzi bath tub. Like all the wallpapers bundled in the DCV, this one will have six different size options, with the largest created specifically for 4k monitors! Continue reading “Suds…”

An Homage to Boris
As promised, here’s a glimpse at the first of the desktop wallpapers to be bundled with the release of Clara Ravens Ep. 4: Colombina’s Illusion – Part II. I am only releasing a small version just like I did for part I, so you’ll have to wait for the comic’s release for the larger ones. I made sure to render to a resolution that allowed me to make a 4K version for those of you who like to couple giant tits with giant monitors.
The render is an homage to one of my favorite artists of all time: Boris Vallejo. Strap in for a moment, because I’m about to share a (hopefully) interesting story regarding Boris and his artist wife Julie Bell:
When I was growing up as a young teen, I played a lot of AD&D (Advanced Dungeons and Dragons to you non-nerds out there). I was also really into drawing and my uncle, a very accomplished artist, was helping me improve by giving me books on dynamic Continue reading “An Homage to Boris”
The Perils of PCD (and other nonsense)
Well guys, San Diego Comic Con 2017 is in the books, having wrapped up Sunday of this week. I had a blast and even though I’m starting to feel diminishing returns with what feels like a lot of repetition in panels, guest, events, and even exclusive toys, it still was a great con. This was my first year getting into Hall H for both Friday and Saturday panels, so I saw TONS of stuff, including that sick Avengers: Infinity Wars trailer that is still on lock down (I think someone leaked it with a camera phone online, but I’m sure they’ve been slapped with a cease and desist already). Other panels I saw were first looks at D.C.’s Aquaman and Justice League, and Marvel’s Black Panther and Thor: Ragnarok. Continue reading “The Perils of PCD (and other nonsense)”
Ghost in the Shell
Here you go guys, have a look at Ember. Yeah, sucks don’t it? This is the bullshit I’ve been dealing with since I got back to work this week. Ever since I had my PC taken in for repairs, the constant BSODs I was having died down… for a time. All the guys did was remove a bad DIMM they said they found with Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool. I felt insulted, considering I had run memtest86+ and hadn’t found shit. So there it went… 90 of my dollars for something I could have diagnosed myself in a matter of minutes.
It wasn’t long thereafter that the PC started having BSODs again. WhoCrashed would analyze the dump files and report no specific software driver and had no advice, considering the kernels where the failure was were seemingly everywhere and the BSOD reasons themselves were constantly varied. But I plodded along, because a BSOD every so often sucks (especially when you haven’t saved in a bit and lost hours of work), but it’s not the end of the world, especially if you have tried everything and have no idea what the actual problem is. Continue reading “Ghost in the Shell”
