Here you go guys, have a look at Ember. Yeah, sucks don’t it? This is the bullshit I’ve been dealing with since I got back to work this week. Ever since I had my PC taken in for repairs, the constant BSODs I was having died down… for a time. All the guys did was remove a bad DIMM they said they found with Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool. I felt insulted, considering I had run memtest86+ and hadn’t found shit. So there it went… 90 of my dollars for something I could have diagnosed myself in a matter of minutes.
It wasn’t long thereafter that the PC started having BSODs again. WhoCrashed would analyze the dump files and report no specific software driver and had no advice, considering the kernels where the failure was were seemingly everywhere and the BSOD reasons themselves were constantly varied. But I plodded along, because a BSOD every so often sucks (especially when you haven’t saved in a bit and lost hours of work), but it’s not the end of the world, especially if you have tried everything and have no idea what the actual problem is. Hey guys, sorry for the super late check-in but I was working hard on CR4 part II and hadn’t mentioned previously that my sister would be coming to town for a week visit with my little niece. I’ve spent the last four days covered in sunblock as we explored the San Diego Zoo, Disneyland, California Adventure, and the San Diego County Fair.
Just wanted to let you all know that the tracker is currently inaccurate, as I redrafted a section of the script that didn’t really play out too well. The rewrite caused the script to grow two pages, so I will need to recalculate where we are at. But it is definitely higher than what is currently listed in the project tracker for sure. In addition, before my sister got here earlier this week, I finished setting up one of the animations and that is currently rendering. The small three second loop needs eleven days to cook! Currently it’s around halfway done (been rendering for nearly five days at this point). Having a completed animation means a significant portion of the total completion will be chalked up on the progress tracker, so that’s good news. I’ll get around to updating the tracker accurately today or tomorrow.
In other news we added the Donation button in the sidebar in order to finance an additional 10 frames for Dossier 014: The Deserted. If you would like to see the product expanded, feel free to submit whatever you can spare. The expansion will have the frames integrated directly into the story just as the expansion Khazarune financed for Dossier 009: Into Ruin. The updated product will be free to everyone who purchased the original; all you will be required to do is to redownload the product from your My Account page. As a special bonus for donators, for every $50 a person donates, they can work with me to add whatever sex act they want in that frame so long as it fits in the visual narrative. In other words, no three-way with Polly, Jester, and the alien (since one of the tags is ‘cuckolding’, this is part of how the story is intended to play out). Also, I do not intend to rewrite the ending that would let Jester get some action because that too would unwind the story’s intent. Continue reading “Sunblock and Alien Cock”
We are, for the fourth or fifth time now, back underway on Clara Ravens Episode 4: Colombina’s Illusion – Part II. I am putting all of my effort into finishing it this time out. There are many, many pages of the script left to render, and we have barely started on sound effects. None of the animation is done, either. So we still have a monumental undertaking ahead of us, but I have committed myself to late nights and long weeks in order to get this thing finished and released so I can move onto more projects in the Dark Rift universe (which is really where my passion is these days).
I will release what I can in the way of teasers. I’ll likely reveal at least one of the bundled wallpapers (in a smaller format) like I did for the previous release, but there won’t be much else. So I may end up just rendering random stuff or doing smaller commissions here and there just to keep you all engaged with new content. The comics can be a slog, so please bear with me. These things are a lot of work and, as you all know, CR4 is/was the most ridiculously ambitious project we’ve done.
I hope you like the cover. I’ll post more stuff soon. Enjoy your weekend, everyone!
RANDOM OFF-TOPIC: Anyone playing the ‘early access’ PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds? I’ve been squadding up with Xipomus and some other friends, and just going it solo here and there too. That game is fucking incredibly addictive. Best game solo was three kills, and best rank was 11th place so far. I’m really not too good at the game, but I can’t stop playing it!
Hey guys, as promised here is the commissioned set I mentioned in the previous post’s comments. Chris3DX is once again to blame for this awesomeness. Here we have Ember crashing the production set of Dossier 014: The Deserted to have a go at giving our giant alien friend Chuck some good old fashioned titty sex! She also decided to stick around after to do a few sexy pinup shots for our staff photographer Doug (Editor’s note: Doug is currently hospitalized with the worst case of blue balls you’ve ever seen and isn’t expected to make a recovery unless he buys the new dossier and faps. Don’t be a Doug).
As of today we are back in production on Clara Ravens Episode 4: Colombina’s Illusion – Part II. This is gonna be a huge push to get this thing wrapped. I’m talking late nights, little to no sleep, mainlining coffee and energy drinks, and ritual gential mutilation (well, maybe not that last part). Oh, and please stop back tomorrow for the cover art reveal! Continue reading “Crashing the Set”
