Here are the last of the commissions I’ll be doing as I gear up for the next big DCV release, which I’ll be announcing very soon. The person who commissioned these images wanted to see Kendra getting some threeway action with Mead and Chad. Obviously, this scenario would never play out in the comic, but that’s the beauty of doing commission projects: seeing characters in scenarios they would never appear in otherwise. So here we have Kendra getting the business from two dudes at once, Continue reading “More Kendra Commissions”

DCV Contest Winner Announcement
Last November, we announced a little contest to help gather ideas and features you might want in a new version of the DCV (Dynamic Comic Viewer). While many of the ideas were truly outside of the scope of a simple comic viewer (many were geared towards full-motion video, which is not what this software is intended to be), many of the ideas were rather inspired, if not difficult or impossible to implement at this point.
So while I can say that very few of the ideas found their way into the new version of the DCV, which will be uploaded when Dark Rift is released this Friday, we were nonetheless pleased with everyone’s submissions and eagerness to offer up new perspectives on where the software could go in the future. Polly in First Person Perspective
Some of you have been asking for actual work from the comic, so here you go. This is a first person perspective view, which is one of the image options available in the DCV comics (along with alternative angles, x-ray view, and animation) . I’ll leave you to contemplate just exactly who’s eyes we’re looking through…
I was going to write a long-winded post addressing everyone’s impatience, but I gotta be honest… I am tired, you guys. I have renders queued up and will continue working through the night. I will give no further insight into a possible release date because I really don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up again, and I really don’t know how long yet it could be. I am working on it full-time… that’s all the truth I can provide.
Enjoy the render, and keep an eye on the website and your emails for our newsletter which will announce its release. If you have not already, ensure you receive the email announcement by adding postmaster@epoch-art.com to your sender safe list. Take care.
Dark Rift Release Date Pushed Back
Sorry, guys… but it had to be done.
With numerous real life factors over the last two weeks (had to help the girlfriend move, my roommate is moving out so I need to find a new roommate, and did some pro bono graphic design work for a friend) and then factors related to Dark Rift (DCV engineer not being able to get off of work for beta phase, issues with updating the store plugin, and, oh… the comic not being finished), the release date is being pushed back.
