SSL Certificate Being Reinstalled

UPDATE FEBRUARY 13TH, 2016 @ 4:24 PM PST: SSL certificate finally replaced. You should no longer be getting warnings of untrusted connection from your browser. Happy Surfing!

Please be aware that we are currently awaiting our yearly renewal of our SSL certificate, which is required to secure the website and store (you’ll notice the https instead of just http in the URL found in your web browser’s address bar). The certificate has expired as of yesterday, but your data is still encrypted! My web host made the same bullshit mistake for the last two years, auto-billing me for an annual SSL certificate but not automating the installation of the certificate. So I am in queue to have my new SSL certificate installed, but I was told it could take 24-48 hours. If you were around this time last year, you’ll remember that the release of Dossier 006: Fire in the Ice had to be pushed for almost three days due to this same exact clusterfuck.

Supposedly, my web host claims they usually send email reminders a week before the SSL certificate expires so I can purchase a new one and make sure someone on their end installs it before the old one expires, but they claimed (this year, at least) that “they are redoing their infrastructure, and a lot of our automated emails aren’t going out”. In this dossier, Polly (one of the female protagonists from the Epoch Art erotic comic Dark Rift) is fixing a sensor relay when an accident simultaneously causes and explosion and contaminates the air supply. With only minutes to act, she tries to escape with her pet alien Jester but succumbs to lack of oxygen. As she lay dying, help arrives in the form of a young pilot who she decides to thank in a ‘special’ way.

DCV v3.0 – PLEASE UPDATE IMMEDIATELY

The Dynamic Comic Viewer (DCV) software was updated some time ago to version 3.0 and we did a stealth update on the website, but it is imperative that you download it if you plan on purchasing any new comics, including the upcoming Dossier 006: Fire in the Ice.

Just go to the DCV page HERE to redownload the software.

There were minor enhances and bug fixes, so it isn’t really a ‘version 3.0’ so much as a ‘2.01’, but that is what the developer chose as the iteration number, so who am I to judge? Just go download it as soon as possible. It is backward compatible, so it will play all of your already purchased comics and dossiers with no issue. You can simply delete your old DCV folder from your hard drive and replace it with the new one.

Any questions, just ask in the comments below. I fully expect to get like a hundred emails when Fire in the Ice releases that it won’t play because they are trying to open it in v2.0 and they didn’t read this post (or the note on the product page). Snack Time!

Dossier 006: Fire in the Ice - Frame 030Here’s your sample frame from the upcoming Dossier 006: Fire in the Ice, featuring Polly “Pixie” Talbish, the young firecracker mechanic of the erotic series Dark Rift, and her pet alien Jester (and newcomer Liam the pilot).

After an explosion in one of the sensor relays simultaneously starts a fire and creates an argon gas leak, Polly manages to extinguish the fire and radio for help before succumbing to lack of oxygen and passing out. In the nick of time, Liam responds to her S.O.S. and manages to cycle the atmosphere of the relay and revive Polly. Having never met Liam before, she is taken by his handsomeness and decides to thank her rescuer like only a woman can. The couple share a sweat-filled, steamy, passionate sexual experience in the confines of the cramped  sensor relay deep below the ice.
