So this set, only featured in the first eight to twelve renders, took nearly two weeks to create. I always end up getting overzealous when set building as it is my favorite part of the process, and this one was incredibly enjoyable. Unfortunately, it put me WAY behind, but hey… that’s not a surprise, now is it? In addition to this promo,
I had a finished render I wanted to share as well, but the image was on my render PC sitting in Octane’s preview window, waiting to be saved, when suddenly the power went out. It was down for only few seconds, but all of my PCs shut off, so that render is lost to San Diego Gas and Electric‘s total failure as a utility company. Lesson learned; I’ll be investing in an uninterrupted power supply this week. (image has been added to the bottom of the post) Continue reading “The Future is Dirty”

Piano Teacher Clara
In this commissioned set, Clara is re-imagined as a high-priced piano teacher, instructor to only the wealthiest of clientele. One of her favorite pupils, a hopeless nerd with no natural talent, is coming for his weekly lesson, and Clara is determined to teach him a lesson he won’t forget. She dresses entirely inappropriately, in an effort to tease him into improving. But she gets a surprise of her own when her pupil walks into the room completely nude, sporting a very large, semi-erect cock. She had not expected this timid, talentless dork to be so bold… and packing such equipment. Continue reading “Piano Teacher Clara”
Clara Rendered in Octane
Since the release of Clara Ravens Episode 3 Epilogue, I’ve been evaluating un-biased rendering options. I’ve wanted to abandon Poser’s Firefly render engine for some time now, but the last straw was the shadow artifacting that is visible in nearly all of the animations I did in the Epilogue. Those artifacts are caused by Poser’s Firefly inaccurately faking lighting frame by frame, with inconsistent results. These inconsistencies in the shadowing, when played back in an animation at 30 frames per second, are very apparent and visually unappealing.
So I’ve decided to abandon Firefly altogether for an un-biased solution that does not fake lighting and shadow. Specifically, I’ve been evaluating GPU renderers and have been heavily leaning towards switching to Octane due to the speed at which it can render in comparison to a traditional CPU rendering solution. Dark Rift
It is my great pleasure to finally introduce to you the brand new erotic comic series I will be producing. It also has the distinction of being the first comic to be distributed through my own store front here, which will be set up in the next month.
The comic is called Dark Rift. It is mostly a science-fiction space opera, though it will have heavy psychological and survival-horror elements in it. It has a feel reminiscent of sci-fi video games Mass Effect and Dead Space, and also TV shows and movies like Firefly and Serenity. If you’ve ever enjoyed any of those, you are sure to enjoy this.
