May is upon us, and still no word on the release of Octane 2.0 (promised by the end of April). Since the release of Wish You Were Here, we’ve been deciding whether we should move on to another dossier, or take a bunch of commissions to tide us over until the huge Octane update. Another dossier would be a lot of fun, but what I really want to do is jump back on Clara Ravens Ep. 4: Colombina’s Illusion the moment Octane 2.0 and the Poser plug-in are available. And if I start a new dossier, it will take a month to finish, meaning I’ll probably be mid-project when the plugin releases, delaying the return to work on CR4 (well, assuming Octane developer Otoy doesn’t take yet another month on this). Wish You Were Here – Coming April 30th
As promised, here are a few promo renders for The Dossier Series 002 – Wish You Were Here. This high quality image set features Kendra Blake, the tortured protagonist of my erotic CG comic Freehope (all six episodes currently only available at crazyxxx3dworld.com), on vacation in Hawaii after high school graduation. Along for the trip is her boyfriend Chad, who will eagerly help Kendra chalk “sex on the beach” off of her sexual ‘to do’ list. It will be somwhere in the range of 50-70 pages of nearly nothing but hardcore sex action (a few frames of situational setup), presented in HD 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, and bundled for display in the Dynamic Comic Viewer (DCV) software. Quick Teaser
Guys, I am super-excited about what’s coming next. I thought I’d have lots of promotional art to show you today, but the set is taking much longer to complete than anticipated. It is actually built, but I’ve been tweaking textures, bump and spec maps, lighting and lighting effects, and Octane material shaders to get this looking just right. New 3D Turntable and Animation Page
Those of you who enjoyed the induction of Ember Riley into the Dark Rift universe might be pleased to know that you won’t have to wait until her first official DCV comic appearance to enjoy her nude 3D turntable. Just check out the bottom right of the website and you’ll find a freshly rendered turntable of the young lass, showing off her lovely curves. Kendra has been replaced, but there might be a future repository somewhere (maybe a submenu under the Animations tab) for older 3D turntables. We’ll see…
And speaking of animations, we revamped the Animations page. You no longer have to leave the page to view them. Instead, they are embedded directly in the page streaming from a video player that we integrated some months back but just hadn’t had time to get up and running. We added some animations from the first two DCV-enabled comic releases for new visitors to sample and whet their appetite on, though likely most of you have already seen those.
